  Whatever happened to these prophecys . Zech. 8:23 / Isa..60 :22 .Do they ever refer to it now ?

  "this is what jehovah of armies has said...."it will be in those days that ten men out of all the languages of the nations will take hold ,yes they will actually take hold of the skirt of a man who is a jew saying:"we will go with you people,for we have heard that god is with you people ".. this was a scripture that was presented to me, that i was fullfilling bible prophecy , when i first became interested in jw`s and of course all other studies,baptisms that were occuring at that time .and the clincher of course was,.

  isa.60:22 the little one himself will become a thousand and the small one a mighty nation.i myself jehovah,shall speed it up in it`s own time .. and i`m talking now about the early 1960`s.

  wow. At least you have faced your worst fears, from here it should be easier. Not saying it will be a walk in the park, but it sure is a nicer path one walks when one is true to themself.

  please stay in touch with the board for encouragement and support. You will be able to start again and find true friends and create a family out of those who actually do not care about such insignificant things as ones sexuality and beliefs.

  looks like a prepare for a natural disaster pack more than an armageddon pack though...perhaps they are trying to make everyone 'prepared' so that when tsunamis, earthquakes or terrorists attack they are easier to find...or survive without 'mother' having to go help them...

  Reminds me of the start of 1975 when we (mother and 3 kids) went into the old shed and dug a big hole. We buried a stash of bibles and watchtowers as our 'survive 75' package. Theory was that as the persecution mounted and we lost touvh with Sydney bethel, we could scoot back under the cover of darkness and retrieve our contriband stash of 'food'.

  I kid you not!

  I went beck to the old house last year, met the owner who told me how he had recently cemented the floor...so i said :"you want to know something funny"...

  wait for it...the day when a non anointed will be on the Governing Body

  i believe that one of the next big doctrine changes will be that the non annointed can be on the gb (and eventually the whole gb will be non annointed).. now that they have slipped through that they are all domestics (the "idea" that jeffery jackson loves so) the current gb are also "domestics" when not meeting as the gb, just as the rest of the rank and file and other annointed are.. not hard to see how they can now bring in any "domestic'' annointed or not to be on the gb.

  once one is in, they can bring in more as they swap over.. stand by for more new light from the celestial chariot.... they would not have made so much of the whole ''domestic'' thing just because jackson had the happies for it, there will be a reason behind the manourver i am sure.

  i can't see it as essential to the change of fds from the remnant to the 8. that they could have just stated and it would have been accepted without question.

  They will change it when having 'too young' guys appointed to the GB who have to be annointed causes problems.

  can you imagine brother so and so born in 1980, baptised in 1996 and annointed in 2000 getting on the GB?

  the whole ''domestics'' thing at the AGM was not needed to pass the change of FDS to just the GB, i just think there is a whole other 'setting the stage' thing going on with that one...

  in 1976, my friend bruce price was in contact with jehovahs witnesses who had become disillusioned through the debacle with 1975. bruce was the leading voice among the sda ministry in working for jws.

  at the time, i was a member of the sda church.

  although i left them about 25 years ago, to this day bruce and i enjoy a strong and genuinely warm friendship.. so, in 1976 bruce invited me to a meeting with one of the jws who was leading the disquiet in his congregation in dandenong (victoria, australia).

They need younger GB members and if they get any younger than than Sanderson they are going to have some hard questions to anwer.

  My pioneer sister called yesterday

  as soon as i saw the number i knew something bad had happened.

  seems my mother (71) has breast cancer in her remaining breast.

  her first time was in 2001. i volunteered my son's services for taxiing back and forth or whatever is needed.

  sorry to hear the news of your mother. my mums is a cancer survivor, i hope yours will be too.

  sounds to me that you should throw the burden of 'taxi service' right back onto the pioneers lap though.

  they should not be allowed to have it both ways. too often the lofty pioneer or bethelite gets free pass on parental responsability and it gets put fair and square on the familiy who are not so 'special' or not in the 'truth' at all.
